Arlene Dahl, known as a gorgeous red-haired Hollywood beauty in the 1940s-50s, has died at 96.

Later in her career, she became an entrepreneur, establishing herself in the cosmetics and fragrance industries, even launching her own fragrance, Dahlia.

It was with the development of this fragrance that she met Marc Rosen, a world-renowned fragrance packaging designer. And the rest is history.

They married and enjoyed nearly 40 years together.

Our greatest sympathies go out to Marc and the family.

Marc Rosen wrote:

“This photo of Arlene is my favorite. It was taken by Bill King while we were engaged. It captures her beauty and radiance. She was a luminous spirit and I will love her always.”
Below, Dahl’s son, actor Lorenzo Lamas, pays tribute to his mom on Instagram.
